The Crossing Church serving with boots on the ground.

From collection drives at church, delivering needed supplies to Cocke County and the Erwin, TN area and serving in the clean up efforts and distribution centers, The Crossing Church we have been called to GO SERVE HIM. Providing prayer, financial, supplies and man-power to those in need.

Here is a recent update:

Communities are still suffering. The devastation is yet to be uncovered.

On Tuesday, Pastor Kermit traveled to Erwin, Tn on the Tennessee North Carolina to deliver supplies to more areas impacted by the flooding. With the financial support of some amazing people, 8 pallets of water and over $3,500 dollars of food and supplies were dropped off at the distribution center. We were blessed with the ability to give to those in need. One thing the visit made abundantly clear, they are going to need so much more and they need other items.

In response to this urgent need we are mobilizing 14,000 pounds of food that is already being stocked. We also will have a box truck ready to be filled with needed additional items. We are calling on The Crossing Church and community at large to help STOCK THE TRUCK.

Thursday, October 3rd we will be leaving and headed back to Erwin to help supply the Upper Northeast Tennessee Rural area and Across the North Carolina Line. Below is a list of items they need. We also can use help loading, traveling with and helping unloading on Thursday in Erwin.

You can bring items to church and leave in the Family Room and/or tomorrow morning as we are loading.

You can also make monetary donations to help with buying supplies via the app and website.

Here are some items needed the most:

Cleaning supplies

Batteries

Flashlights

Baby formula

Baby wipes

Diapers

Food…Please food

Baby food

Propane

Cook stoves (Portable)

We are a non-denominational fellowship of believers where everyone is welcome to worship

no matter your appearance, previous church experience, or current situation.

Our church is a hospital for the broken and not a country club for the faithful. Whether you've been raised in church and known Jesus Christ ever since you were a child or you've never set foot in a church before, you will find The Crossing to be a welcoming place.
